Sir Didymus & Ambrosius art dolls.
I spent countless hours trying to capture the likeness & features inspired by the beloved movie characters,
Sir Didymus & Ambrosius.
I know how rare it is to find certain Labyrinth inspired fan art, so I wanted to make something for diehard fans (like myself) to be able to own.
*Labyrinth* is a timeless cult classic & one of the biggest inspirations in my life. I really did put my heart into this fan made project.
His head, hands & feet were hand sculpted with polymer clay,
then painted & sealed/glossed with acrylic paints.
There are wires in both doll arms, neck, legs & tails so they can move & gently be posed.
Sir Didymus outfit was hand painted, & the fur on his face strategically placed. He even comes with his little cane/staff that can be held on with the help of a tiny rubber band (provided).

The fur on the sheepdog was sewn on the body & colored on the feet & corners of the mouth to look dirty & more realistic. The saddle itself took over 10 hours to paint the details as accurate as possible.
Though it was not originally intended, I ended up making the saddle removable, & simply glued some strips of velcro on the bottom to keep it on.
No molds or patterns were used in the making of these dolls. They are truly the only one of their kind.
They would be a great addition to any collection & the perfect gift for any Labyrinth fans out there!
